Please Note: From the 16th to the 27th of March 2009, repairs to the two bridges close to JAM IP in Sindlesham are occurring. During these repairs, Mill Lane will be closed from the North West side of JAM IP (see map).
To avoid the congestion and/or blocked-off roads, please follow the directions shown below and, if possible, carry something with the JAM IP name in case you are asked by the police to prove you need access.
Temporary Directions:
After leaving the A329M, take the first right, then bear left at the next roundabout.
At the large roundabout – the one with the road through it, and the traffic lights – do not proceed to ‘Sindlesham’ direction.
Instead, go left towards Wokingham.
At the crossroads, take the right turn before Sainsbury’s, bear right at the first mini-roundabout and then sharp right at the next one to JAM IP.
Take the second exit off the roundabout, following the B3270 towards Shinfield. Follow the road parallel to the M4 on the right, past Foster Wheeler on left to the next roundabout. At the large roundabout take the second exit towards Lower Earley and Winnersh with the motorway still on your right hand side. Follow parallel to the M4 until the Reading Moat House Hotel roundabout. Take the second exit onto Mill Lane – follow over two small bridges and under the bridge carrying the M4. As the row of trees ends, take the first turning on the left hand side. JAM IP is the first building on the right.
From M4 Junction 10
If travelling West from London take the A329(M) towards Reading and Winnersh (which takes you round to the right and back over the top of the M4) If travelling East from Newbury take the A329(M) towards Reading and Winnersh (which takes you round to the left)
After about a quarter of a mile, come off at the first exit signed Winnersh and Woodley. At the bottom of the slip road, bear right.
Stay in the middle lane of the three; this will lead straight to a double set of traffic lights. Continue straight over both sets of lights (the Showcase Cinema will be on your right hand side). After about a quarter of a mile turn left onto Mill Lane at the Reading Moat House roundabout. Follow over two small bridges and under the bridge carrying the M4. As the row of trees ends, take the first turning on the left hand side. JAM IP is the first building on the right.
